Hi, Shandeh. Glad to hear that customer support has clarified some of the questions about the pattern and is going to try to re-word the directions. I love the way your vest and the others turned out. Sometimes there is no "wrong" way or no "right way" --- whether we take "liberties" with a pattern or just plain interpret things differently. LOOKING GOOD is what counts. :D

I found my button today, so I am officially finished. As a note, the size 12 months did have the correction I was wondering about. loved seeing this build to completion

LizzyTee :bravo: Your vest came out so cute. I love the delicate soft color and the yarn looks a little smaller than ours. Great job on your choices. When I have more time, I'll have to try it again. I'm thinking about using the Baby Jacquards. I thought this was a fun project and it went pretty fast.

The yarn is a little smaller. I had some yarn already that I thought would work up well for the pattern, and since I live in Florida, I didn't mind seeing how it worked with a lighter weight yarn. I'm looking forward to seeing it on my niece

I am way behind. I just found this on the site. I am going to make it for my great niece, but I need to find out what size she wears as she is very small for her age. I hope my sister(grandmother), will know my great niece's clothes size.

I"m confused on stitch count for the "Divide for body and sleeves". The total stitch counts for the two middle sizes don't add up when you add it up according to the pattern. Is the stitch counts for the two middle sizes correct or am I adding wrong?

Welcome to the CAL!
I haven't tried either of the middle sizes, so I don't know the answer. But I will start one tonight, so I can offer my advice. I need to make another one anyway. :)

I am having a problem with the first row of the body after the dividing for the 24 mo size. I am doing the stitches correctly but when i get to the end and it says to dec2tog I always end up having to do a dec3tog instead, if i don't i end up with an extra stitch. I counted the previous row and it is correct at 73 stitches. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm thinking it is in the chain section that I'm messing up but I'm not sure. Would someone please help me? I've redone this row 4 times and always ends the same way.
