Patty wrote:Mine are finished!! i made a few changes, only 2. First I like working in a spiral, not crazy about joining, ch1 etc. Instead of sewing the seams, I sl st up the sides. I have a funky edge, but it gives the slipper a nice look on the backside. My only change for next time would be to go up a size in hook. Now on to the next project......

:bravo: Your Slippers came out GREAT. I love :inlove: the color Hippi Hot. Cool. :cooldude:

:knit: I couldn't help myself. I saw these cute little knit booties and thought they looked like our slippers. I just had to try to make them. Oh, how cute to make Mother and Baby a pair to match.

Sweet! We made some of those baby booties in our 2nd "Learn to Crochet" CAL. :)

Time to start making slippers as gifts for Christmas. I chose Bernat's Quickie Slippers http://www.bernat.com/pattern.php?PID=6971 using the new Softee Chunky yarn. The first pair I made smaller to fit my grand-daughters age 4 & 6. I purchased Shadow at local Jo-Ann's Fabric and Craft Store. Now off to find a 'boy' color for my grand-son & nephew.

edit 11/17: changed up the pattern to work in spiral. I'm not crazy about joining with slst, ch1. For the smallest size 6 for my niece I added 2 sc in the foot section. I am making the pattern as stated otherwise.

Great choice! Those slippers will go FAST!
I'm thinking of giving those a try myself. :)
