Bernat Mosaic "Carolinian" Shawl for Fall!

Postby Shandeh » Tue Sep 25, 2012 10:54 pm

Some of you may remember that I promised to do a Fall Shawl KAL, using the "Carolinian" shawl pattern in the Bernat Mosaic E-Book "Masterpiece".

Well, Fall is here now! So, I'm ready to start on my shawl. :cloud9:

I'll be using Bernat Mosaic in the color "Spectrum".

Stay tuned for photos and updates! I would love it if some of you would join me in making this beautiful shawl.

So pretty! Gotta learn to knit! :knit: Make that "re-learn." :reading: Gave it a shot many years ago, and made a couple of things, but wasn't very good at it. Should be easy on here with all the instructions and help available. Finding the time is the real issue!

:knit: Count me in on this one. I have been wanting to make a shawl. Now is the time. Weather is starting to turn.

Wow! Looks super quick and easy---and WARM. Knitting a tunic length cardi vest (adult size) at the moment but maybe I can jump in on this one later on. Looking forward to seeing what y'all post for pictures!

:helpme:  oh no, I'm stuck. I tried to start and I can get to the 18sts. Then I'm lost. I don't know how to get it to increase to the 61. If I keep leaving the unworked sts. I can't get it to increase. I'll have to wait for your help. When you do it, let me know how you get it to increase. Thanks.

I did my 18 stitches last night, and will pick it up again in a little while. I'll make a video while I work it, so maybe it will help you out.

:D You are right---this one has my name all over it! Glad you have the chance to work on this right away, Shandeh. Would love to try to help with that stitch count / increase issue but simply have no time to tackle it for a few days. Looking forward to the video...and trying to catch up with you guys!
