Yay! Bernat has a new pattern book out, and I really love the new designs. :cloud9:

It has FIVE new cardigans/jackets, THREE new hats, THREE new scarves, and TWO new mittens.
These patterns will be so fun to make, and quick to knit with the new Softee Chunky yarn.

Picked up my copy today. If the granddaughters see it I'm going to be kept busy over the winter.

At a Walmart store in Leamington Ontario Canada. One Granddaughter has already seen it and I have the yarn in Dark Mauve to make the "Chill-Chaser Cowl and Mitts" for her. However she wants it as a scarf instead, which won't be difficult to adapt as it is sewn together after it's knit.
Personally I love the " Into the Woods Sweater Coat." Maybe when I'm done knitting for everyone else I make it for myself.

Oh gosh, I LOVE that design! I was torn between that one and the Aran Cables Set. I've decided to make the Aran cardigan, because I've always wanted a cardigan like that.

Herrschners have the Bernat Softee Chunky on sale for $1.99 plus shipping and tax until October 4th. I have ordered online from them quite a few times and have always been satisfied.

Why do all the neat new patterns have to be just knitted ones??? :ire: I guess I'll just have to put down my crochet hooks and learn how to use those darned knitting needles.

Make sure they are selling the NEW version, because the earlier Softee Chunky will not work with these patterns.

I used to say the opposite when I saw lots of nice crochet patterns coming out. So I learned to crochet. Now I'm happy with ALL new designs. But, I am still jealous of some woven designs I come across. :?
