Look what I found!

At an estate sale for $2. :inlove:

It was off white and had a few beige coloured stains so I washed it, but the stains were still slightly visible. So I tea dyed it and now I can't see the stains. Maybe they were tea stains?? I think it looks fantastic. I've already charted the main hexagon part of it and I'm just playing with the trim because I'm not 100% sure of that. The trim is an add on after the blocks were joined and doesn't really line up with any of the block stitches.

I'm thinking this block would make a great hexagon baby jacket! Rather than make a whole row a different colour I'd like to try and make just the popcorn stitches a different colour.

Anyway, it's headed into the bedroom to dress up a night stand!

That is beautiful! Someone really put a lot of work into making it originally. And you did a great job in giving the dresser scarf a new life. Great find!! :bravo:
