That's the way I roll!
I put the two socks on different colored dpns. Then write down on the top of the pattern which color dpns will be the second set. I always finish with the second set, so that I will be ready to work on the first set for the next round. It's tedious, but my socks turn out exactly the same length, and they get finished at exactly the same time!

Here's a pair I worked on a long time ago:

Clever! :D I love the yarn you were using on those socks. The socks are a perfect match! :cloud9:

Thanks! You should have seen me casting them on. I got both skeins started from the center, and pulled the yarn FOREVER from one of them, to get it to the exact same color sequence for starting out. I was so happy when they were finished, and the stripes matched all the way through. :D

These are beautiful !!! I finished my first two socks (2 different solid colors, good thing
that is in fashion) and a second smaller pair !! The second pair looks a lot better and the work
went a lot smoother since I wasn't having to read each direction and watch youtube at the same
time.
Congrats, those are truly a matched pair and someone should be honored to wear them.

Yay! That means that you are REALLY a sock knitter now!

Thanks Kayro! I am the honored sock wearer. :D They have actually been worn all the way through, after six years of wearing them. I've washed them with cold water, and hung them to dry every time....but the yarn is very fragile, apparently. It was a recommended sock wool, from a fancy yarn shop. I'm sticking with Bernat Sox for my socks from now on, because I want them to LAST! I think I'll save that fancy sock wool for making shawls, since they aren't washed as often.
