Beautiful! :inlove:
Don't worry about taking a crochet break. One day, you'll be using BOTH crafts in the same project. I enjoy doing that sometimes. Lots of times, I will knit a blanket, then add a crochet border. Same with cardigans. I like adding crochet borders on those as well.

:hellogoodbye: That makes a lot of since. To me, the knitting is very soft, and I can see where some projects would call for a crochet (stronger) border or edging. Great Idea. :crown:

I haven't posted in awhile. I have been busy making hats and working on other projects with "contraband" :scared: yarns lol. But I have been working on this over this week. It is a blanket for our new puppy made with some left over yarn from a baby blanket I made earlier this year. I'm just finishing up on this and then it's back to a Mario blanket I have been working on for an Xmas gift.

Sweet pup! Your blanket is looking so nice. :)
No worries about the yarns - I have lots of contraband in my stash as well.

I wish I would have known about Bernat super value before I bought the yarn for the Mario blanket and the racing blankets I'm making I so would have gotten that instead of the scratchy stuff I have

I have been trying to use up some of my extra yarn to make something useful. This is a laprobe made from leftover yarns, some Bernat, some other brands. It is 75 stitches wide, all half double crochet, 27 different colors, 3 rows of each color. I will donate it to my church for the prayer shawl ministry.

:hellogoodbye: Thanks mittenmaker. The Jacquards Yarn did this one. It was cool the way it just changes colors.

Your project really shows off the beauty of this yarn (and vice versa!) I wish Bernat did Jacquards yarn in a Worsted/4 weight, in addition to baby and sock yarn. :knit:

I love your use of color, needlenut! I love to make projects out of leftover yarn and mine turn out willy-nilly colorwise ;)
The recipient of the laprobe will be so blessed by your kindness and skill! :cloud9:

I've been there! The good thing is that there is still time available in the rest of your life for ANOTHER blanket, made with Bernat Super Saver. :cooldude:
