I forgot to post a photo of my shawl! I've gotten about a third of it completed.

:hellogoodbye: I love the colors. :inlove: Spectrum is so pretty. I wanted to do mine in Daydream, but only have 1-ball, so I settled on the blue. I like it, but I think it would have been much prettier in the Spectrum. I'll have to order some more and I'll be putting Spectrum on the list. Great Job :knit: Can't wait to see it finished.

I love your shawl Shandeh. Also your double wedding ring quilt. Is that another of your talents?

Thanks! As for the quilt, it is not my work. I've never even tried quilting before - but, REALLY want to learn how. I'm a decent seamstress. I've sewn lots of dresses, skirts, pants, and shorts - especially back in my 20's. I still have lots of fabric leftover, and TONS of sewing patterns. So, I'm hoping to learn to quilt one day.

What a perfectly beautiful blend of colors, Shendah---my favorite color combo. :bravo: And beautiful knitting, too! As for the quilting--- apart from traditional patchwork and piecework designs you might look into "string" quilting as well. With tons of left over fabrics on hand from previous years of sewing your "scraps" might lend themselves quite well to that style of construction. A friend of mine just finished a string quilt in the "spider web" pattern and it was simply amazing.

TLOVE: Sorry I did not post on this sooner. Your shawl looks beautifully knit and the color of blue is quite striking. Are you using it?! It looks like it would be very comfortable and warm. :)
