Car Woes

Postby Shandeh » Fri Nov 02, 2012 9:23 pm

:(

This past week, I had to take my car to the shop, to get lots of work done. Brakes fixed, oil changed, wheel alignment adjusted. It wasn't cheap to get it all done at once, but that's the way things go.

So, today, I was driving home from a trip to the bank, when I was SIDE-SWIPED! :rainy:
At least it wasn't my fault. And no one was hurt. But still.....my little car is not so pretty anymore. :tears:

Sorry for your car. More important thing, you are O.K. and nobody was hurt.

Thank you, lialab!

After the wreck, I drove the car a while, to make sure it was still running properly. No engine trouble, but the driver door seal is damaged. I can hear wind all the time as I drive. I'm really looking forward to getting it repaired. :geek:

I spent the morning washing dishes, and plan on washing some clothes this evening. Trying to focus my attention on ANYTHING but my car right now. I'm sure I'll be doing lots of knit and crochet stuff too.

Thanks, love. I'm hanging in here, waiting on her insurance company. She has Farm Bureau, and they are taking their time getting back to me. :(
