Wow, I have to get some yarn together yet. I have the needles, 10.5. But this may be my excuse for a trip into town to find the just right Bernat yarn in that special color. Looking forward to the video they have always been so helpful. :cloud9:

Great! Thanks for joining us! :)
I'm a little late in making the how-to videos. I had a car wreck a few days ago, and it messed things up a bit.

Snow already? :o We don't get snow that often here in the South. If we do, it's usually in February or March.
I'm glad you're gonna make slippers too. These are fun to make, and are very thick, since the yarn is held double stranded. :)

Yeap! we saw some snow, don't get me wrong it did not stay on the ground, but where I used to live in the Saguenay region (northern region) they had 6 inches of snow but I don't think it stayed on the ground either but it will eventually. Today it is kind of cold 32 F thank God it is a sunny day!!! Nice day to make slippers!! :knit:

Yeah. Thanks for checking!
I wasn't hurt by the wreck at all. Just a little sore in the shoulders and back, from the muscle work I did with my hands gripping the steering wheel so tightly. My body isn't used to exercise like that. Ha!

One thing has really surprised me with this car wreck. It has never happened before in my life, and I've had a few other accidents that were not my fault: I've been getting TONS of letters from lawyers, asking to represent me for injury claims! Those guys must be desperate for clients. I mean....I didn't even break a finger nail with this wreck. No injury at ALL.

I can see now, why people jump on that bandwagon, suing for damages. So many lawyers, making promises to get money for you. The guilty party in my wreck is lucky that I am an honest person.

I am going to join in on the KAL. My crew love knitted slippers. And it is something I can do when my DD is awake :)
