Handicrafter Cotton - Bibs & Booties

Postby TwinklesGirl » Mon Nov 19, 2012 9:58 pm

Help,

I am working http://www.bernat.com/pattern.php?PID=2390 and have hit a snag.

I am at this point, "3rd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each st to last 2 sts. Sc2tog over last 2 sts. Turn. 5 sts.
Work 10 rows even. ", and my confusion comes with the, "Work 10 rows even." Am I doing 10 more rows? I am stumped by the work even in the instructions. Is the row I am working going to be to chain 1, then 1 sc in each st to last 2 sts (so 3 sts?) then Sc2tog? to make 5 sts in each of the 10 rows?, or what. I feel silly  being so stumped when I think this should be rather easy, but this is just not clear for me.

Help, anyone?

Thanks.

Whenever a knit or crochet patterns says to "work even", it means to continue working the project with the same design, and no increases or decreases.

In this particular pattern, you will just work single crochets across for 10 rows. You won't do any decreases.

If they wanted you to repeat Row 3, they would have said that.
