Ta Daa! I finally finished knitting my Cable Baby Sack. If you look close, you'll notice that I switched to regular seed stitch at the hood. My moss stitch design got out of kilter when I did the decreasing to start the hood, and I didn't feel like unravelling. I'm going to leave the bottom open. I think it looks just fine this way. :)

:hellogoodbye: Shandeh your baby cable sack came out great. I like the idea that you changed to hook. Now its yours, with your own personal design on it. Love it. :inlove:

Shandeh I love this pattern, the idea of leaving the bottom open also makes it easy to insert Baby. I'm also in love with your old fashion quilt.

That quilt is VERY old. My great-grandmother sewed it by hand. The padding between the quilt top and bottom is cotton from the cottonfield on their land, here in North Carolina. When I was a little girl, my sister and I kept warm under this quilt, on the bed we shared. We had lots of tugging wars with it, fghting over the covers in the cold months. It's a wonder the quilt is still in one piece!
