yarn for a rug

My granddaughter wants a rug for Christmas. She wants one that pink, purple, and sparkly. She is 5. I want something soft because she will probably be sitting or lying on it. :hrmm: Any suggestions?

Bernat doesn't have any sparkly yarns in those colors.

I kind of figured that. I told her that I could do pink and purple. I thought maybe a white with a sparkle spread in-between the 2 main colors. I wanted something other than handicrafter. Would one of the yarns work for a rug?

Well, Bernat "Happy Holidays" yarn comes in Sparkly White.

It's a medium weight yarn. You could use it with Bernat Super Value

in two of these colors.
Damson, Light Damson, Lavender, Lilac, Baby Pink, Super Pink, or Magenta.
