I decided this year would be the year of "keep your neck warm", so I made scarves and cowls for my children's teachers (good to keep warm on recess duty) as well as their teachers for their activities. I have never made a cowl before and was pretty impressed with my self :cooldude: The patterns were all found on-line, and I believe the grey stripe might be a Bernat pattern.

Thought I would share the picture, the two on the left (purple and grey stripe) are scarves, the rest are cowls.

Golly! When you learned how to make a cowl, you hit the ground running! Those look great!

The cowls are gorgeous. I love all of the colours. There are going to be a lot of grateful teachers.

Thank you for kind words Ewezer and Shandeh. I totally got hooked making the cowls (pardon the pun). I love crocheting in the round and the yarn was so super soft! :cloud9:

Well I have been debating posting this. I go back and forth on whether I like him or not but I'm determined to get him done by Xmas. I need to find a better way to join for if/when I do something like this again. Excuse the mess on the coffee table. It's evidence of my neglecting my house cleaning to work on Mario lol

Mine needs a good cleaning too but I've also been trying to finish off projects. I like the colours of your "Mario"
Blocking it may make you happier with it.

Just finished last project. A tea cozy for my daughter-in-law for Christmas. :cloud9: I think I need to give my fingers a rest.
