I hope that everyone has a happy, successful 2013!

I'll be busy all night tonight, hosting an online New Year's Eve Party on the Knitting Help Forum.
So, if you don't see me much tonight or tomorrow, you'll understand why. :)

Have any of you made any New Year's Resolutions?

Ewezer - how interesting!! I have my first grandchild due in March, with the baby shower February 17th! So I've set my resolution to finish up all the projects that are half/mostly done before starting anything else.

Happy New Year to all!! :hellogoodbye:

Happy New Year!

I made a Tardis dishcloth/washcloth tonight to help me ring in the year.
I don't understand New Year resolutions, so I have never made one, doesn't make sense to me to put pressure on yourself to do something. If you are going to get it done you will do it better without the pressure.
That said, I have decided I want to finish all my incomplete projects or actually frog them and reuse the yarn else where so that by time 2014 rolls around I will have many new projects finished. I also plan on doing more projects this year than I did last year, and thanks to Ravelery I can keep track of this stuff.
If I also could just start selling some of the things I make we may even get enough money to do our Disney trip we are planning for 2014! I don't call these resolutions, cuz if I fail I will disappoint myself something terrible.

Happy New Year to all my knitting and crochet friends, hope 2013 is a successful and a safe one. We had a ton of snow just before Xmas. (No complaint here, we had a white Christmas)....

New Year's Resolutuon:
Get out the knitting needles and actually MAKE something!! :knit: (The little scarf for my amigurumi reindeer doesn't count, but it DID plant the seed!). it will be like learning all over again after so many years :reading: But I'm ready for the challenge. Everyone always told me that if I could teach myself to crochet just using all the old "how to crochet" books and illustrations, then learning to knit would be easy. Now I have all this great on-line help, so it should be a cinch. Right???!!!
I'm already perusing some knit patterns. We'll see what KAL Bernat has in store this year.

And to think I thought I was the only one that didn't finish! I have all the pieces made, just never got around to sewing them all together. Maybe after I finish all the baby stuff???
