Bernat Softee Chunky

Any suggestions for a quick afghan/throw project using bernat softee chunky, preferably knitted. I am thinking of using one of the varigated colors.

Another quick question. I have the yarn in colors pictured for the Waverly ripple, but not liking the pattern. Would it work to do the Stepping Waves pattern and follow color pattern as in the ripple?

Well, aren't you a lucky person?
The Bernat Design Team just published a new knitted blanket pattern for that yarn, which is quick and simple. And it will work very well with variegated Softee Chunky yarn.

I just printed the afghan pattern pictured above. It would also work for any weight yarn. Just add a few more stliches. I want to try with with small balls of leftover worsted weight that I have. Decide how wide you want it and add the number of stitches. Looks like an easy pattern. DM
