Weather Underground has historical data - you can search for the temperature on a specific date in the past.

For more general historical data, Wikipedia might be your best bet.

Here's the Canadian National Climate Data and Information Archive's website, for Canada-specific data

www.accuweather.com
Search for your location and then go to "Month". It includes last year's info also.

I found this site that has yearly averages to get an idea of the range for 'colors' that you will need.

Personally, I like this one:

http://www.meteotimes.net/

Primarily Irish, but also covers locations globally.

This is a great site!! If you select whatever day you need (for instance if you were doing last year instead of this year or an alternate year, then select month it gives you the high's and lows for the entire month, PLUS the weather (sunny, cloudy etc...) AWESOME!! Works perfect for my second scarf which will reflect the weather during my daughter first year of life.

Thanks for sharing!! :knit:

I have found a great link as I am making my sister-n-law a scarf using the climate of her birth year. It is the Farmer's Almanac site and I'm doing the year 1979.
