baby bootie NEED HELP!!

baby bootie NEED HELP!!

In my first row....of the bootie......2 sc in 2 nd from ch.__1sc in each of next 3ch____2 sc in each of next2 ch.__1 sc in next ch (place marker) __2 sc in each of 2 ch _____1 sc in next 3 ch.____ 2 SC IN LAST CH. 19 SC. TURN. So this last part ....2 sc in last ch. 19 sc. turn. Don't get it?? If I am putting 2 sc in last ch....where am I putting 19 sc????

The pattern is just letting you know that you just worked 19 single crochets in that row.

Thanks....now I feel dumb! :p ...first time I am attempting to "read" a pattern! Really appreciate. You taking the time to help a person in distress! Lol! I have started that thing 5 times trying to figure what went wrong!

You're not dumb! I remember back when I first started learning to read patterns, and I was completely befuddled! It's like reading a new language, isn't it? ;)

baby booties

when making baby booties, can I use the same BOTTOM SOLE part of the bootiesi mean will a basic "botoom work for any bootie?
and make the rest in different types of stitches...????

You can create any kind of bootie you want, but every pattern for baby booties is a little bit different.
Some booties are designed from toe to heel. Others are designed from heel to toe. And some are designed in the round. Occasionally, a bootie will be designed to be made from side to side.

You will find several different free patterns for baby booties here on the Bernat website.
Just try different patterns, and see which ones you like.
