What's it like outside?

During our current KAL/CAL, you'll be working on a scarf a little bit every day for the whole year. At the end, look back and see how the weather has changed!

Power has been restore late that night, thank God, with that freezing weather!! We hired electricians (overtime of course) to repair the mast and replace the meter, than the power company re installed the electricity! than the day after we got back the phone line, internet and cable. We just don't know if the roof was damaged in the process. Just hoping that it will not leak when the snow melts!!!!!!!

I"m almost afraid to post from SF Bay Area, California...it's sunny and cool today, but was cold and windy yesterday. They say we might get some rain tomorrow

My sister is in the San Diego area, and sees lovely weather every day.
I visited once, and it was beautiful!

Here in Toronto we are expecting about 30 cm of snow. This will be the most snow since 2008! Great day to spend indoors watching the snow fall and working on a crochet/knitting project. My tempurature scarf is caught up. Maybe I should start a snow/rain/sun/cloud scarf.

24 hours from now a winter storm is supposed to hit us. My area is currently looking at up to 8" of a freezing rain/snow mix. My daughter 1.5 hours north is looking at up to 15" of snow. My afghans will get a little more interesting and I will post some pictures of the weather and maybe my afghans out in the snow when it clears.
