What Bernat Project are YOU working on?

Had a request from a friend for an off white winter hat. So I quickly whipped up this basic 2 strand garter stitch knitted hat using Waverly for Bernat in Birch White. Simple pattern, holding 2 strands together, cast on 30 stitches on Size 11 needles. Knit every row till piece measures 18". Bind off leaving a long tail. Thread tail thru every stitch along one 18" side and draw thru, shaping top of hat, then run a seam down the back.

I love the hat. I have printed out the picture of it to show the knitting group that I started in our apartment building. The first week we had 4 people and now have grown to a group of 12. Each have different levels of expertise so instead of working on one project everyone is doing something different. Some do crocheting and now we are learning how to do that too. We've even added coffee and homemade baked goods to our Monday afternoon gatherings in the partyroom. It's become so popular that friends of residents who do not live in the building have been joining us.

I'm up to my 3rd repeat which isn't too bad as I'm trying to balance this with hat requests and a puppy that just had "the surgery". I think 2 or 3 more repeats should see it complete

Glad it's a hit. This pattern was given to me by a dear friend and fellow knitter from my church. This is the pattern we used most to make the hats we donated to various charities, including Hats for the Homeless and Hurricane Sandy victims.

He finally has eye and feelers. I put them on just before I wrapped it. My nephew loves it.

I have gotten a set I leg warmers done a bunny hat and diap cover done a Mohawk hat finished and a toy hammock done. I've also gotten I start the temp blanket and get the baby blanket down to one more repeat. Yay!

I was trying to take full advantage of my time off I just finished my last stitch on the blanket and just need to tuck the ends but I'm going to work on a couple other things then finish it off
