Baby Afghan (crochet)

Postby alabao » Tue Feb 12, 2013 12:41 am

Hello, I will begin to crochet this baby afghan. The picture shows that the afghan is made with 3 different colors but the explanation doesn't say when to change the color. Can you help me please? Thanks.

This blanket was made with a multicolored yarn. Just one yarn. The colors change as you work with it.

But, now Bernat Baby fingering yarn only comes in solid shades, so there will be no color changes.

Ok! Thank you very much! But that means I could do this afghan in one colour only. Will it be nice too?

I'm sure it will still be lovely in just one color.
If you like, you could use Bernat Sox yarn instead, to make a very bright, colorful blanket.

I have 7 balls of this yarn left from a previous project (blue baby, white and yellow baby). I was thinking doing some rows of blue then white and finishing with yellow. Thanks for your input.

Awesome! Be sure to post a photo of your blanket when it is finished. We love to see it!
