Good question!

Here's what you need for the 2010 Crochet Blanket:

Bernat Softee Chunky (100g / 3.5oz; 164/180 yds)
Contrast A – 6 balls
Contrast B – 2 balls
Contrast C – 2 balls
Contrast D – 2 balls
Contrast E – 7 balls

You also need a 6mm (U.S. J or 10) crochet hook, or size needed to obtain the pattern gauge of 11 sc and 12 rows.

Here is my completed afghan.



Here is the detail of the edging.

My color choices were close to the recommended ones, but the recipient does not like purple or lavender, so I used the red instead.
