Shandeh's Bernat Projects

Postby Shandeh » Wed Jan 04, 2012 7:18 pm

I'm gonna keep a list of my Bernat projects here, so you can all see what I'm currently making with Bernat yarns.

Right now, I'm trying out Bernat's new ruffly yarn "Twist & Twirl".
Those big ruffle scarves are so popular now, so I just had to try it.

And I recently made a nice, warm cowl, using Bernat "Really Big" yarn. SO SOFT! :inlove:

Thank you! :crown:

I think those cowls are very warm as well. It's funny, how I can just put a cowl or scarf around my neck, and I'm suddenly more warm all over. I guess it has something to do with the bloodflow through the neck to and from the brain, or something. :hrmm: Who knows? I just know I LOVE wearing them when it's cold outside. :D

I'm going to have to crochet a few cowls for my mom because she's always cold.

I want to try this yarn out but I don't think my local store carries it. I have been out of a debit card for a while now so unfortunately can't buy online yet. It is looking awesome! I can't wait to try! :bravo:

Do you have Paypal? You might find a retailer online who will accept that.

I've also made several other Bernat projects. You can see most of them on the Bernat Blog.

I like your circular sweater that you made for Christmas. I even have that same pattern. Maybe one day I'll make it and I'll use your photos for assistance! I used to know someone who cut the neckline out of a sweatshirt and then knitted a circular neck on to. I have always wanted to try that too.

Thank you! :)

I was proud of that one too. After I wore it, I felt like my neckline was too tight.
Then I looked closely at it, and compared it to the pattern. I used the wrong chart for my yoke! Ack!

So, I've unravelled the yoke, and I'm re-knitting it now, so I can wear it properly next Christmas. ;)
