You would be my hero... :cooldude:

Bernat made a video for us! :bravo:

This video shows how to work in the ends of your yarn as you work in crochet.

I started crocheting at university but haven't touched anything to do with wool for over 35 years! Knitting has never been for me. I recently discovered crocheting again when getting fidgety watching the television and wanting to do something with my hands. I started making a blanket for my daughter - many video tutorials later from Youtube and the marvellous Ravelry site, the blanket is complete. I am working on one for my son now - I have to say living in the Uk means that the terminology is quite different from the North American version which means I am forever translating. I still consider myself new at this as with every pattern I have to review or learn the stitches as i go - but I cease to be frightened of it all and the fact that so many people may have more experience than me. I enjoy it, love seeing the completed project and very much look forward to the Crochet-along! :D

My girlfriend and I are doing this together...she's doing the KAL and I'm doing the CAL. My yarn arrived yesterday and I am ready to rock and roll! I love that each square will be different, learning a new skill with each. This forum seems pretty straight forward and and I can't wait to get going! I picked colors that will work splendidly with our new living room furniture! Ta Ta for Now.

My mother-in-love taught me to crochet at Thanksgiving. I am now a woman obsessed!! This will be the largest project I have attempted so far. Purchased my yarn today and I am sooo excited!! Hoping I will be able to stick it out to the end!! :P

My first time at the Forums too. I've knitted and crocheted for many years but it's my first CAL. It's going to be fun - especially translating US crochet terms into UK ones as I crochet along. I'm looking forward to it though.
