Cool Crochet - Flowers (crochet)

Customize just about anything with these pretty and stylish flowers. Large 2in [5cm] diam, Medium 1.75in [4.5cm] diam and Small 1.25in [3cm] diam. Crochet in Bernat Cool Crochet Rosewood (#74416) and Summer Cream (#74008) on 3.75mm (U.S. F or 5) hook.

SIZES: Large Flower: 2 ins [5 cm] diameter, Medium Flower: 1¾ ins [4.5 cm] diameter and Small Flower: 1¼ ins [3 cm] diameter.

MATERIALS
Bernat Cool Crochet (50 g/1.75 oz)
1 ball of each: #74416 (Rosewood) as A and #74008 (Summer Cream) as B.

Size 3.75 mm (U.S. F or 5) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.

GAUGE
19 sc and 23 rows = 4 ins [10 cm].

LARGE FLOWER I
(make 2 for Shoes)
With A, ch 4. Join with sl st to first ch to form a ring.
1st rnd: Ch 4 (counts as dc and ch 1). (1 dc. Ch 1) 7 times in ring. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. Break A.
2nd rnd: Join B with sl st to front loop of any dc. Ch 1. 1 sc in same sp. *Ch 2. 2 dc in next ch-1 sp. Ch 2. 1 sc in front loop only of next dc. Rep from * around, ending with 2 dc in last ch-1 sp. Ch 2. Join with sl st to first sc. Break B. P.O. Box 40 Listowel ON N4W 3H3 “home style… life style… your style.”
3rd rnd: Join A with sl st to rem loop of any dc behind 2nd rnd. Ch 1. 1 sc in same sp. *Ch 4. 1 sc in rem back loop of next dc. Rep from * around, ending with ch 4. Join with sl st to first sc.
4th rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in same sp as last sl st. *Ch 2. 4 dc in next ch-4 sp. Ch 2. 1 sc in next sc. Rep from * around, ending with ch 2. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

LARGE FLOWER II
(make 1 for Hat)
Make as given for Large Flower I substituting A for B and B for A.

MEDIUM FLOWER
(make 1 for Top)
With A, ch 4. Join with sl st to first ch to form a ring.
1st rnd: Ch 1. 9 sc in ring. Join with sl st to first sc.
2nd rnd: Ch 1. 2 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. 18 sc. Break A.
3rd rnd: Join B with sl st to any sc. Ch 1. 1 sc in same sp. *Ch 3. Miss next 2 sc. 1 sc in next sc. Rep from * around, ending with ch 3. Miss last 2 sc. Join with sl st to first sc.
4th rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in same sp as last sl st. *Ch 2. 2 dc in next ch-3 sp. Ch 2. 1 sc in next sc. Rep from * around, ending with ch 2. Join with sl st to first sc. Break B.
5th rnd: Join A with sl st in sp between any 2 dc. Ch 1. 1 sc in same sp. *Ch 3. Work a long sc into next sc of 2nd rnd, working over 3rd and 4th rnds. Ch 3. 1 sc in sp between next 2 dc. Rep from * around, ending with ch 3. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

2nd rnd: Join A with sl st to any sc. Ch 1. 1 sc in same sp. *Ch 2. 1 cluster in next sc. Ch 2. 1 sc in next sc. Rep from * around, ending with 1 cluster in last sc. Ch 2. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

SMALL FLOWER II
(make 4 for Top, 1 for Hat, 3 for Skirt).
Make as given for Small Flower I substituting A for B and B for A.
Sew on flowers as shown in picture.
