Cool Crochet - O-Ring Belt (crochet)

Fun and funky belt is a great accessory. Crochet in Bernat Cool Crochet Tie Dye Shades (#74130) using size 5 mm (U.S. H or 8) hook. Instructions for 33 inch, 43 inch, and 53 inch (84 cm, 109 cm, 134.5 cm) long by 4-1/4 inches wide belt.

SIZES: 33 (43-53) ins [84 (109-134.5) cm] long by 4¼ ins [11 cm] wide.

MATERIALS
Bernat Cool Crochet (50 g/1.75 oz)
1 (2-2) ball(s) of #74130 (Tie Dye Shades)

Size 5 mm (U.S. H or 8) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge. 2 metal rings 2½ ins [6 cm] diameter and 1 metal ring 1½ ins [4 cm] diameter.

GAUGE
16 sc and 16 rows = 4 ins [10 cm].

INSTRUCTIONS
The instructions are written for smallest size. If changes are necessary for larger sizes, the instructions will be written thus ( ).
Ch 18.
Foundation row: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of ch. 17 sc.
1st row: Ch 2 (counts as hdc). Miss first sc. 1 hdc in next sc. *[(Yoh. Draw up a loop) 3 times in next st. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook -bobble made. 1 hdc in next sc] 7 times. 1 hdc in last sc. Turn.
2nd and 3rd rows: Ch 1. 1 sc in each st to end of row. Turn.
Rep last 3 rows until work from beg measures 33 (43-53) ins [84 (109-134.5) cm], ending on a 3rd row. Fasten off.

FINISHING: Fold one end of Belt around 2 large rings and sew securely. Fold other end around small ring and sew securely.
