Shoulders: Cast off 18 (25-26-29-36-43) sts beg of next 2 rows. Leave rem 38 (40-42-44-46-48) sts on a st holder.

FRONT
Work from ** to ** as given for Back.
Cont even in pat until armholes measure 2 (-3--4-5) ins [5 (6-7.5-9-10-12.5) cm], ending with a WS row.

Divide for front opening: Next row: Pat 36 (44-46-50-58-66) sts (or to center 2 sts). Turn. Leave rem sts unworked.
Cont even in pat until armhole measures 20 rows less than Back to shoulder, ending with a WS row.

Shape neck: Next row: (RS). Pat 25 (32-33-36-43-50) sts. Turn. Leave rem sts on a st holder.
Dec 1 st at neck edge on next 3 rows, then every following alt row to 18 (25-26-29-36-43) sts.

Work 8 rows even in pat. Cast off.

With RS of work facing, join yarn to rem sts. Cast off 2 sts. Pat to end of row.
Cont even in pat until armhole measures 20 rows less than Back to shoulder, ending with a RS row.

SLEEVES
With larger needles, cast on 70 (70-78-78-86-94) sts.
Work from ** to *** as given for Back.

Cont in Lacy pat, inc 1 st each end of needle on next and every following 6th (4th-4th-4th-4th-4th) row to 84 (84-88-98-102-114) sts, then every following 8th (6th-6th-6th-6th-6th) row to 86 (90-96-100-106-116) sts, taking inc sts into stocking st.
Cont even until work from beg measures 10 ins [25.5 cm], ending with a WS row. Place marker at each end of last row.

Work 12 (12-16-16-20-26) rows even.
Cast off 6 sts beg of next 12 rows. Cast off rem 14 (18-24-28-34-44) sts.

FINISHING
Sew shoulder seams. Sew in sleeves, placing rows above markers along cast off sts of Front and Back to form square armholes. Sew side and sleeve seams.

Neck edging: With RS of work facing and smaller needles, K11 (12-13-14-15-16) from right front st holder. Pick up and knit 20 sts up right front neck edge. K38 (40-42-44-46-48) from back st holder, dec 2 (3-1-2-3-1) st(s) evenly across. Pick up and knit 20 sts down left front neck edge. K11 (12-13-14-15-16) from left front st holder. 98 (101-107-110-113-119) sts.
Next row: (WS). Cast off 2 sts. *Turn. Cast on 3 sts. Turn. Cast off 5 sts. Rep from * to end of row.

Front opening edge: With RS of work facing and smaller needles, pick up and knit 16 sts down left front opening.
Knit 2 rows. Cast off.
Rep for right front opening. Sew sides of edgings to bottom sts, overlapping right side over left side.
