MEASUREMENTS

1 ball each of:
MC: (#04431 Wine Mist Heather)
A: (#04239 Forest Mist Heather)
B: (#04111 Denim Mist Heather)
C: (#04045 Grey Mist Heather)
D: (#04306 Plum Mist Heather)
E: (#04020 Beige Mist Heather)
F: (#04238 Olive Mist Heather)

Size 5 mm (U.S. H or 8) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.

GAUGE: 14 sc and 15 rows = 4 ins [10 cm].

Dcfp = Yoh and draw up a loop around post of next stitch at front of work, inserting hook from right to left. (Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice - Double crochet around front post made.

INSTRUCTIONS
Note:
Scarf is made lengthwise.

With MC, ch 190.
1st row: (RS). 1 dc in 4th ch from hook (counts as 2 dc). 1 dc in each ch to end of ch. Turn. 188 dc.
2nd row: Ch 2 (does not count as st). 1 hdc in first dc. 1 dcfp around each dc to turning ch 3. 1 hdc in top of turning ch 3. Turn. Join A.
3rd row: With A, ch 3 (counts as dc). 1 dc in each st to end of row. Turn.
Rep last 2 rows, changing colors in following sequence:
With A – 1 row.
With B – 2 rows.
With C – 2 rows.
With D – 2 rows.
With E – 2 rows.
With F – 2 rows.
Fasten off.

Fringe: Cut yarn 6 ins [15 cm] long. Taking 3 strands tog, fold in half and knot into fringe across side edges of scarf, coordinating color of fringe with color of stripes. Trim fringe evenly.
