This funky headband with "alien" antennae glows in the dark! Sizes 2/4 & 6/10 yrs. Made with Bernat Glow in the Dark. Set of four 4.5 mm (U.S. 7) double-pointed knitting needles. 1 pipe cleaner.

MATERIALS
Bernat® Glow in the Dark (40 g / 1.4 oz)
MC and A: 1 ball each

Set of four 4.5 mm (U.S. 7) double-pointed knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge. 1 pipe cleaner.

GAUGE: 19 sts and 25 rows = 4 ins [10 cm] in stocking st.

INSTRUCTIONS
HEADBAND
With MC, cast on 21 sts.
1st row: K1. *Slip next st purlwise with yarn at front of work- Sl1Pwyf. K1. Rep from * to end of row.
2nd row: Sl1Pwyf. *K1. Sl1Pwyf. Rep from * to end of row.
Rep last 2 rows for 17 (19) ins [43 (48) cm], ending with a 2nd row.
Next row: (Sl1. K1. psso) 10 times. K1. Cast off 11 sts. Sew cast on and cast off edges tog.

ANTENNAE (make 1).
With A, and 2 double-pointed needles, cast on 4 sts.
1st row: *K4. Do not turn. Slide sts to opposite end of needle. Rep from * for 8 ins [20.5 cm]. Insert pipe cleaner into I-cord. Break yarn and thread through all sts. Fasten securely.

Pom-pom: (make 2). Wind A around 3 fingers approx 60 times. Remove from fingers and tie tightly in center. Cut through each side of loops. Trim to a smooth round shape. Attach pom-poms. Fold antennae as shown in picture and sew to Headband.
