MATERIALS
Bernat® Glow in the Dark (40 g / 1.4 oz) #22615 (Light Bright)
You can make 6 stars with 1 ball of yarn.

Size 4 mm (U.S. G or 6) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge. Stuffing for Ornament, Mobile and Bag Versions.

GAUGE: 18 sc and 19 rows = 4 ins [10 cm].

INSTRUCTIONS
STAR: Ch 2.
1st rnd: 8 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join with sl st in first sc.
2nd rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in first sc. 2 sc in each of next 7 sc. Join with sl st in first sc. 15 sc.
3rd rnd: *Ch 8. 1 sc in 3rd ch from hook. 1 hdc in each of next 2 ch. 1 dc in each of next 3 ch. Miss next 2 sc of 2nd rnd. Sl st in next sc. Rep from * 4 times, working last sl st in same sc as end of 2nd rnd. 5 points made.

Edging rnd: Working into rem loops of foundation ch, work 1 sc in each of next 6 sts. 3 sc in ‘tip’. 1 sc in each of next 5 sts. Sc2tog over next st and next rem loop of foundation ch on side of next point. *Working into rem loops of foundation ch, work 1 sc in each of next 5 sts. 3 sc in ‘tip’.** 1 sc in each of next 5 sts. Sc2tog over next st and next rem loop of foundation ch on side of next point. Rep from * twice more, then from * to ** once. 1 sc in each of last 6 sts. Join with sl st in first sc. Fasten off.

Ornament, Mobile and Bag Versions: Make 2 Stars. With WS facing each other, sew Stars tog leaving one side of point open to insert stuffing. Stuff lightly. Sew opening closed.

Hanging Loop: Join yarn with sl st at inner corner of 2 points. Ch 20. Join with sl st in same sp as original join. Fasten off.

Appliqué Version: Make 1 Star. Sew Star on purchased sweatshirt or Jacket around points.
