Simply gorgeous. This afghan alternates beautifully striped panels with a lovely solid-color diamond and bobble cable panel. 50 x 65" [127 x 165 cm]. Made in Bernat Super Value Harvest Colors. 5 mm (U.S. 8) knitting needles. Cable needle.

1 ball each of:
Contrast A: (#53015 Taupe Heather)
Contrast B: (#53014 Steel Blue Heather)
Contrast C: (#53241 Moss Heather)
Contrast D: (#53309 Plum Heather)
Contrast E: (#53203 Teal Heather)
Contrast F: (#53522 Redwood Heather)

Size 5 mm (U.S. 8) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge. Cable needle.

GAUGE: 18 sts and 24 rows = 4 ins [10 cm] in stocking st.

INSTRUCTIONS
Stripe Pat: Work 10 rows of each color in following sequence: A, B, C, D, E, F, work 4 rows of MC.
These 64 rows form Stripe Pat.

Strip A (make 1):
With MC, cast on 45 sts.
Knit 7 rows (garter st), noting 1st row is WS.
Proceed in Stripe Pat as follows:
1st row: (RS). Knit.
2nd row: K1. Purl to last 7 sts. K7. **First 2 rows of Stripe Pat are complete.
Keeping cont of Stripe Pat, rep last 2 rows until work from beg measures approx 61½ ins [156.5 cm], ending with 10 rows of any color.
With MC, knit 7 rows (garter st). Cast off knitwise (WS).**

Strip B (make 1): With MC, cast on 45 sts.
Knit 7 rows, noting 1st row is WS.
Proceed in Stripe Pat as follows:
1st row: (RS). Knit.
2nd row: K1. Purl to last st. K1.
Rep from ** to ** as for Strip A.

Strip C (make 1): With MC, cast on 45 sts.
Knit 7 rows, noting 1st row is WS.
Proceed in Stripe Pat as follows:
1st row: (RS). Knit.
2nd row: K7. Purl to last st. K1.
Rep from ** to ** as for Strip A.

Strip D (make 2): With MC, cast on 50 sts.
Knit 7 rows, noting 1st row is WS.
Proceed in Pat as follows:
