Sizes 5 mm (U.S. H or 8) and 6 mm (U.S. J or 10) crochet hooks or size needed to obtain gauge.

GAUGE
Jacket: 11 sc and 11½ rows = 4 ins [10 cm] with smaller hook.
Blanket: 10 sc and 10½ rows = 4 ins [10 cm] with larger hook.

JACKET

Note: Jacket is worked in 2 pieces, beg at wrist and working to center of body.

LEFT SIDE
**With smaller hook, ch 13 (15- 19).
1st row: (WS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch across. Turn. 12 (14-18) sc.
