MEASUREMENTS
Approx 26½ x 34 ins [67.5 x 86.5 cm] (excluding fringe).

MATERIALS
Bernat® Handicrafter Cotton Country Colors (Twists 340 g / 12 oz)
1 ball each of #42533 (Barnboard Twists) or 500 m / 550 yrds and #42613 (Cottage Twists) or 500 m / 550 yrds.

Size 5.5 mm (U.S. 9) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge. Size 5.5 mm (U.S. I or 9) crochet hook for fringe.

GAUGE
15 sts and 20 rows = 4 ins [10 cm] in pat with 2 strands of yarn tog.

INSTRUCTIONS
With 1 strand of each shade held tog, cast on 93 sts.
1st row: (RS). *K3. P3. Rep from * to last 3 sts. K3.
2nd row: *P3. K3. Rep from * to last 3 sts. P3.
3rd and 4th rows: As 1st row.
5th row: As 2nd row.
6th row: As 1st row.
Rep 1st to 6th rows for pat until work from beg measures approx 34 ins [86.5 cm], ending with a 6th row of pat. Cast off knitwise (RS).

FRINGE
Cut 7 ins [18 cm] lengths of yarn. Taking 4 strands tog, knot into fringe using crochet hook across each end of Rug. Trim fringe evenly.
