BACK
With MC and smaller needles, cast on 65 (73-77-83-95-103-115) sts.
Work 3 rows garter st (knit every row), noting first row is WS and inc 13
(13-13-15-15-15-15) sts evenly across last row. 78 (86-90-98-110-118-130) sts.

Change to larger needles and proceed in pat as follows:
1st row: (RS). Purl.
2nd row: K1. *(K1. P1. K1) all in next st. P3tog. Rep from * to last st. K1.
3rd row: Purl.
4th row: K1. *P3tog. (K1. P1. K1) all in next st. Rep from * to last st. K1.
These 4 rows form pat.
Cont in pat until work from beg measures 12 ins [30.5 cm], ending with RS facing for next row.

Shape armholes: Keeping cont of pat, cast off 4 (7-8-9-9-10-14) sts beg next 2 rows. 76 (72-74-80-92-98-102) sts.
Dec 1 st each end of next 1 (3-3-3-7-7-5) rows, then every following alt row 5 (7-9-9) times. 58 (58-60-62-64- 66-74) sts.

Shape top: Keeping cont of pat, cast off 3 (3-4-4-5-6-7) sts beg next 2 rows. 52 (54-54-56-54-56-60) sts.
Dec 1 st each end of next and following alt rows until there are 46 (46-42-40- 36-36-40) sts then on every row until there are 10 (10-10-12-12-12-12) sts.
Cast off.

FINISHING
Front edging: With RS facing, MC and smaller needles, pick up and knit 66 (68-70-70-72-74-76) sts evenly along front edge between cast on edge and neck edge.
Work 2 rows garter st. Cast off knitwise (WS).
Sew shoulder seams. Sew in sleeves.
Sew side and sleeve seams, reversing at markers for cuff turnback.

Collar: With A and smaller needles, cast on 14 sts.
Work 10 ins [25.5 cm] in garter st placing a marker at end of last row.
Cont in garter st inc 1 st every row at marked end until there are 26 sts. Place a marker at end of last row.
Cont even until work from last marker measures 13½ (13½-14-14-14½-14½- 15) ins [34.5 (34.5-35.5-35.5-37-37-38) cm].
Dec 1 st at marked end of row on next and every row until there are 14 sts. Place a marker at end of last row.
Cont even until work from last marker measures 10 ins [25.5 cm]. Cast off.
Sew Collar to neck edge between markers leaving 10 ins [25.5 cm] free at each end.
