INSTRUCTIONS
The instructions are written for smallest size. If changes are necessary for larger sizes the instructions will be written thus ( ).
Note: To change colors, work to last 2 loops on hook. Draw new color through to complete st and proceed.

TAILS [make 40 (44-48-50-54)]
With A, ch 3.
1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in next ch. Turn. 2 sc.
2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. Turn.
3rd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in first sc. 2 sc in next sc. Break A. Turn. 3 sc.
4th row:With MC, ch 1. 1 sc in each of next 3 sc. Turn.
Rep last row until Tail measures 4½ ins [11.5 cm], ending with a WS row. Fasten off.

MAIN BODY
With MC, ch 120 (132-144-150-162) loosely. Join in rnd taking care not to twist chain.
1st rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each ch around. Join with sl st to first sc. 120 (132-144-150-162) sc.
2nd to 5th rnds: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc.
6th rnd: Ch 1. *Place last row of Tail on top of next 3 sc of Poncho. Sc through both thicknesses of same 3 sc to join Tail. 1 sc in each of next 3 sc of Poncho. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc.
7th to 12th rnds: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc.
13th rnd: Ch 1. *1 sc in each of next 3 sc. Place last row of Tail on top of next 3 sc of Poncho. Sc through both thicknesses of same 3 sc to join Tail. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc.
14th to 34th rnds: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc.

Shape top: Next rnd: Ch 1. *1 sc in each of next 4 sc. Draw up a loop in each of next 2 sc. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook – sc2tog made. Rep from * around. 100 (110-120-125-135) sc.
