Beg at neck edge, with A, ch 52 (58-64) loosely.
1st row: (RS). (1 dc. Ch 1. 1 dc) – V st made, in 5th ch from hook. *Miss next ch. V st in next ch. Rep from * to last 2 ch.Miss next ch. 1 dc in last ch. 23 (26-29) V sts. Turn.
2nd row: Ch 3 (counts as dc). *V st in ch-1 sp of next V st. Rep from * across, ending with 1 dc in 4th ch of turning ch. Turn.
3rd row: Ch 3 (counts as dc). V st in ch-1 sp of next V st. V st in sp between 2 V sts. *(V st in ch-1 sp of next V st) 3 (3-4) times. V st in sp between 2 V sts. All sizes: Divide for Body: With separate length of MC and RS facing, join yarn with sl st in sp between 6th (7th-8th) V st and 7th (8th-9th) V st from left front edge. Ch 5. Miss next 11 V sts (left sleeve). Join with sl st in sp between last V st and next V st. Fasten off.
Miss center 13 (14-15) V sts (back).With separate length of MC and RS facing, join yarn with sl st in sp between last V st and next. Ch 5. Miss next 11 V sts (right sleeve). Join with sl st in sp between last V st and next V st. Fasten off.
Next row: (RS). Ch 3 (counts as dc). (V st in ch-1 sp of next V st) 6 (7-8) times (left front). (Miss next ch. V st in next ch) twice. Miss next ch. Left Sleeve: 1st rnd:With RS facing, join MC with sl st in first ch of ch 5. Ch 3. (V st in next ch. Miss next ch.) twice. (V st in ch-1 sp of next V st) 11 times. Join with sl st in top of ch 3. Turn. 13 V sts.
**2nd rnd: Ch 3. *V st in ch-1 sp of next V st. Rep from * around. Join with sl st in top of ch 3. Turn.

Size 6 mos only: 3rd rnd: Ch 3. (Yoh and draw up a loop in ch-1 sp of next V st. Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice. Yoh and draw through all 3 loops on hook. Ch 1. 1 dc in same sp – V st dec made. *V st in ch-1 sp of next V st. Rep from * to last 2 V sts. V st dec over last 2 V sts. Join with sl st in top of ch 3. Turn. 11 V sts.
All sizes: Rep 2nd rnd until Sleeve from joining rnd measures 4 (5-6) ins [10 (12.5-15) cm]. Fasten off.

Edging: 1st rnd: With RS of work facing, join A with sl st in top of ch 3. Ch 3. *V st in ch-1 sp of next V st. Rep from * around. Join with sl st in top of ch 3. Fasten off.
2nd rnd:With RS of work facing, join MC with sl st in top of ch 3. Ch 1. 1 sc in same sp. *Ch 2. 1 sc in ch-1 sp of next V st. Rep from * around, ending with ch 2. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.**

Right Sleeve: 1st rnd:With RS of work facing, join MC with sl st in last ch of ch 5. Ch 3. (V st in ch-1 sp of next V st) 11 times. (Miss next ch. V st in next ch) twice. Join with sl st in top of ch 3.Turn. 13 V sts.
Work from **to** as given for Left Sleeve.

Jacket Edging: With RS facing, join A with sl st in top corner of left front neck edge. Ch 1. Work 39 (45-51) sc evenly down left front edge to corner. Fasten off.
With RS facing, join A with sl st in bottom corner of right front. Ch 1.Work 39 (45-51) sc evenly up right front edge to corner of neck edge. Fasten off.
1st row: With RS of work facing, join A with sl st in first sc at neck edge of left front. Ch 3.Miss next sc. *V st in next sc.Miss next 2 sc. Rep from * to last sc. 2 V sts in last sc for corner. V st in ch-1 sp of each V st across lower edge. 2 V st in first sc for corner. **Miss next 2 sc. V st in next sc. Rep from ** to last 2 sc. Miss next sc. 1 dc in last sc. Turn.
2nd row: Ch 3. *V st in ch-1 sp of next V st*. Rep from *to* 2 corner V sts. V st in ch-1 sp of next V st. V st in sp between last V st and next st. Rep from *to* once more. V st in ch-1 sp of each V st to end of row. 1 dc in top of turning ch. Fasten off.
3rd row:With RS facing, join MC with sl st in last dc of 2nd row. Ch 1. 1 sc in same sp. *Ch 2. 1 sc in ch-1 sp of next V st. Rep from * around to opposite corner, ending with ch 2. 1 sc in top of turning ch. (Ch 2. 1 sc in side of edging rows) twice. **Ch 2. 1 sc in ch-1 sp between next 2 V sts. Rep from ** across neck edge. (Ch 2. 1 sc in side of edging rows) twice. Ch 2. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
Sew button to top corner of left front neck edge, using ch-2 loop of 3rd row of Edging on right front as a button loop.
Weave ribbon through neck edge. Tie in bow at center front.
Sew seams at underarms.

Blanket
With MC, ch 134 loosely.
1st row: (RS). (1 dc. Ch 1. 1 dc) – V st made, in 6th ch from hook. *Miss next 2 ch. V st in next ch. Rep from * to last 2 ch.Miss next ch. 1 dc in last ch. 43 V sts. Turn.
2nd row: Ch 3 (counts as dc). *V st in ch-1 sp of next V st. Rep from * across, ending with 1 dc in 5th ch of turning ch. Turn.
3rd row: Ch 3 (counts as dc). *V st in ch-1 sp of next V st. Rep from * across, ending with 1 dc in top of turning ch. Turn.
Rep last row for pat until work from beg measures 36 ins [91.5 cm]. Fasten off.

Edging: 1st rnd: With RS facing, join A with sl st in top right corner dc of Blanket. Ch 4. 1 dc in same sp – beg V st made. *V st in ch-1 sp of next V st. Rep from * to next corner dc. V st in top of corner dc.Work V st in side of each turning ch or dc down side of Blanket to next corner dc. V st in base of corner dc. V st in each ch-2 sp across foundation ch to next corner dc. V st in base of corner dc. Work V st in side of each turning ch or dc up opposite side of Blanket. Join with sl st to 3rd ch of ch 4.
2nd rnd: (Beg V st. V st) all in ch-1 sp of Beg V st. (*V st in ch-1 sp of next V st. Rep from * to next corner V st. 2 V sts in next corner V st) 3 times. **V st in ch-1 sp of next V st. Rep from ** to end of rnd. Join with sl st to 3rd ch of ch 4. Fasten off.
