Bernat® Cottontots (Solids 100 g/3.5 oz/ Ombres 85 g/3 oz)
Main Color: (MC) (Ombre) 6 balls
Contrast A: (Pink) 4 balls

Size 5 mm (U.S. H or 8) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.

GAUGE
4 shells and 7 rows = 4 ins [10 cm] in pat.

INSTRUCTIONS
Note: To change colors, work to last 2 loops on hook of first st. Yoh with next color and complete st.
Beg at center of blanket, with A, ch 11.
1st rnd: 2 dc in 4th ch from hook – counts as shell. Miss next 3 ch. 3 dc in next ch – shell made. Miss next 3 ch. (Shell. Ch 3. Shell) in last ch.Working into opposite side of ch, miss next 3 ch. Shell in next ch. Miss next 3 ch. Shell in last ch. Ch 3. Join MC with sl st to top of ch 3.
2nd rnd:With MC, ch 3 – counts as dc. 1 dc in each of next 8 dc. [(Shell. Ch 3) twice. Shell] in next ch-3 sp. 1 dc in each of next 9 dc. [(Shell. Ch 3) twice. Shell] in next ch-3 sp. Join A with sl st to top of ch 3.
