Approx 20 ins [51 cm] in diameter and 9½ ins [24 cm] high (excluding tails).

GAUGE
14 sts and 17 rows = 4 ins [10 cm] in stocking st.

MATERIALS
Bernat® Boa (50 g/1.75 oz)
Main Color (MC) (Brown) 8 balls
Contrast A (Black) 1 ball

Size 5.5 mm (U.S. 9) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge.

Alt = Alternate.
Approx = Approximately.
Beg = Beginning.
Cont = Continue.
Inc = Increase.
K = Knit.
Rep = Repeat.
Rem = Remaining.
RS = Right side.
St(s) = Stitch(es).
WS = Wrong side.

INSTRUCTIONS
With MC, cast on 18 sts.
1st row: (RS). K1. *Inc 1 st in next st. K1. Rep from * to end of row. 26 sts.
2nd and alt rows: Purl.
3rd row: K1. *Inc 1 st in next st. K2. Rep from * to end of row. 34 sts.
5th row: K1. *Inc 1 st in next st. K3. Rep from * to end of row. 42 sts.
6th row: Purl.
Cont in same manner, inc 8 sts on next and every following alt row to 218 sts.
Next row: (WS). (Fold row). Knit.
Beg with a knit row, proceed in stocking st until work from Fold row measures 9½ ins [24 cm], ending with a purl row.
Next row: Cast off 2 sts. *Tail: Slip stitch from right-hand needle back onto left-hand needle. Cast on 11 sts.
With A, cast on 5 sts. K5. With MC, K11. Turn. Leave rem sts on a spare needle. K11. With A, K5. Turn. Cast off 5 sts. With MC, cast off 15 sts.*
Rep from * to * ending with: Cast off 16 sts. Sew seam.
