SIZES
To fit infant 3 (6-12) mos.

GAUGE
18 sts and 32 rows = 4 ins [10 cm] in garter st.

ABBREVIATIONS
Beg = Beginning.
Inc = Increase 1 stitch by knitting into front and back of next stitch.
K = Knit.
K2tog = Knit 2 stitches together.
Rep = Repeat.
RS = Right side.
St(s) = Stitch(es).

MATERIALS
Bernat® Handicrafter Cotton
(50 g / 1.75 oz/73 m/80 yds)
or Bernat® Satin
(100 g / 3.5 oz/149 m/163 yds)
(Green)
Size 3 mos (6 mos-12 mos)
55 (65-75) m
OR
60 (75-85) yds

Size 4.5 mm (U.S. 7) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge.

INSTRUCTIONS
The instructions are written for smallest size. If changes are necessary for larger sizes the instructions will be written thus ( ).
Cast on 28 (36-44) sts.
Knit 2 rows (garter st).
Next row: (RS). Inc 1 st in first st. Knit to end of row.
Rep last row 5 times more. 34 (42-50) sts.
Knit 4 (6-8) rows.
Next row: (RS). K1. K2tog. Knit to end of row.
Rep last row 5 times more. 28 (36-44) sts.
Shape cuff: Cast off 4 (6-7) sts beg next 2 rows. 20 (24-30) sts.
Place marker at each end of last row.
Knit 8 rows. Cast off loosely.

FINISHING
Fold Bootie in half, matching markers. Sew foot seam to markers.
Fold cuff to RS as shown in picture.
