MATERIALS: Bernat® Baby Sport (Ombres 280 g/9.8 oz; 816 m/893 yds)
Main Color (MC) (24698 Rain Drops) 1 ball
Bernat® Baby Sport (Solids 350 g/12.3 oz; 1148 m/1256 yds)
Contrast A (21201 Boo Blue) 1 ball

Size 4 mm (U.S. 6) circular knitting needle 36 ins [90 cm] long or size needed to obtain gauge.

GAUGE: 22 sts and 30 rows = 4 ins [10 cm] in stocking st.

INSTRUCTIONS
Note
: On WS rows, when slipping yarn purlwise, keep yarn at back of work.
With A, cast on 179 sts. Do not join.
Working back and forth across needle, knit 7 rows (garter st), noting 1st row is WS and inc 10 sts evenly across last row. 189 sts.
Proceed as follows:
1st row: (RS). With MC, K4. *Sl1P. K5. Rep from * to last 5 sts. Sl1P. K4.
2nd row: With MC, K4. *yf. Sl1P. yb. K5. Rep from * to last 5 sts. yf. Sl1P. yb. K4.
3rd and 4th rows: As 1st and 2nd rows once more.
5th and 6th rows: With A, knit.
7th row: With MC, K1. *Sl1P. K5. Rep from * to last 2 sts. Sl1P. K1.
8th row: With MC, K1. *yf. Sl1P. yb. K5. Rep from * to last 2 sts. yf. Sl1P. yb. K1.
9th and 10th rows: As 7th and 8th rows once more.
11th and 12th rows: With A, knit.
Rep 1st to 12th rows of pat until work from beg measures approx 33 ins [84 cm], ending with 6th or 12th row of pat.
Knit 6 rows, dec 10 sts evenly across first row. 179 sts. Cast off knitwise (WS).
Side edges: (RS). With A pick up and knit 179 sts evenly along side of Blanket. Knit 6 rows. Cast off knitwise (WS).
Rep for other side.
