Contrast A (34121 Pop Art) 2 balls

Size 5.5 mm (U.S. 9) circular knitting needle 36 ins [90 cm] long or size needed to obtain gauge.

GAUGE
17 sts and 22 rows = 4 ins [10 cm] in stocking st.

INSTRUCTIONS
With A, cast on 261 sts. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows:
Knit 3 rows (garter st), noting first row is WS.
Proceed in pat as follows:
1st row: (RS). With MC, K2tog. *K3. yo. K1. yo. K3. Sl1. K2tog. psso. Rep from * to last 9 sts. K3. yo. K1. yo. K3. ssk.
2nd row: Purl.
3rd and 4th rows: As 1st and 2nd rows.
5th row: With A, as 1st row.
6th to 8th rows: Knit.
9th to 18th rows: With MC, as 1st and 2nd rows 5 times.
19th row: With A, as 1st row.
20th to 22nd rows: Knit.
Rep last 22 rows for pat until work from beg measures approx 62 ins [157.5 cm], ending on a 7th row of pat.
With A, cast off knitwise (WS).
Fringe: Cut 14 ins [35.5 cm] lengths of A. Taking 6 strands tog, knot into fringe on each ‘point’ across ends of Throw.
