Side Edging: With RS of work facing and A, beg at lower right corner of Blanket, pick up and knit 199 sts along Right side edge.

Hood:With MC, cast on 55 sts.

Pin Blanket to measurements and cover with a damp cloth, leaving cloth to dry.
Fold Kitty Ears along Picot row and sew to Hood of Blanket, having A as inside of ear as shown in picture.
With A, embroider Kitty’s nose using Satin stitch and whiskers using Chain stitch (see Diagrams).
