Bernat® Boa (100 g/3.5 oz; 118 m/129 yds)
Sizes 32/44 (46/54)
46135 (Nightingale) 3 (4) balls
Size 6 mm (U.S. 10) circular knitting needle 24" [60 cm] long. Size 6 mm (U.S. 10) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge. Stitch holder.
GAUGE
15 sts and 18 rows = 4” [10 cm] in stocking st.

INSTRUCTIONS
With circular needle, cast on 140 (180) sts. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle, knit 7 rows, noting 1st row is WS.
Work 20 (24) rows in stocking st.
Next row: (RS). K6. [K2tog. K12 (13)] 9 (11) times. K2tog. K6 (7). 130 (168) sts.
Beg with a purl row, work 9 (11) rows in stocking st.
Next row: K6. [K2tog. K11 (12)] 9 (11) times. K2tog. K5 (6). 120 (156) sts.
Beg with a purl row, work 9 (11) rows in stocking st.
Next row: K6. [K2tog. K10 (11)] 9 (11) times. K2tog. K4 (5). 110 (144) sts.
Beg with a purl row, work 9 (11) rows in stocking st.
Next row: K2 (0). (K2tog. K1) 36 (48) times. 74 (96) sts. Cast off knitwise (WS).
With RS facing and pair of needles, pick up and knit 41 (45) sts along left side of Cape.
**1st row: (WS). P1. (K1. P1) 20 (22) times.
2nd row: (Dividing row for key-hole). (K1. Slip next st onto a st holder at back of work) 20 (22) times. K1. 21 (23) sts.
Working across these 21 (23) sts and beg with a purl row, proceed in stocking st for 3" [7.5 cm], ending with a purl row. Break yarn. Leave all sts on a st holder.
With WS facing, K20 (22) from st holder. Beg with a purl row, proceed in stocking st for 3" [7.5 cm], ending with a purl row. Do not break yarn.
Leave sts on a working needle.
Slip sts from st holder onto circular needle and place behind working needle.
Next row: (Joining row). (K1 from circular needle. K1 from working needle) 20 (22) times. K1 from circular needle. 41 (45) sts.
Cont in garter st (knit every row) on these 41 (45) sts for 4" [10 cm].
