Size 10 mm (U.S. 15) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge. Length of complimentary smooth yarn for sewing seams.
GAUGE
8 sts and 12 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stocking st.

INSTRUCTIONS
The instructions are written for smallest size. If changes are necessary for larger sizes the instructions will be written thus ( ).
Note: Pullover is worked in one piece.
Beg at lower Back edge, cast on 18 (19-22-23) sts loosely.
1st row: (WS). Knit.
Beg with a knit row, cont in stocking st for 5 1/2 (6 1/2-7-8 1/2)" [14(16.5-18-21.5) cm] total length, ending with a purl row. Place a marker at each end of last row.
Shape sleeves: Inc 1 st each end of next 2 rows. 22 (23-26-27) sts.
Cast on 8 (9-10-12) sts beg next 2 rows. 38 (41-46-51) sts.
Cont even until work from markers measures 5 (5 1/2-6-6 1/2)" [12.5 (14-15-16.5) cm], ending with a purl row.
Shape neck opening: Next row: (RS). K13 (14-16-18). Cast off next 12 (13-14-15) sts evenly. K13 (14-16-18).
Next row: P13 (14-16-18). Cast on 12 (13-14-15) sts evenly. P13 (14-16-18). 38 (41-46-51) sts.
Cont even until work from neck cast on edge measures same length as first side from neck edge to sleeve cast on edge, ending with a purl row.
Shape sleeves: Cast off 8 (9-10-12) sts beg next 2 rows. 22 (23-26-27) sts.
Dec 1 st each end of next 2 rows. 18 (19-22-23) sts.
Cont even until work from last dec measures same length as first side from first sleeve inc to cast on edge, ending with a knit row.
Cast off loosely knitwise (WS).
Using complimentary smooth yarn, sew side and sleeve seams.
