Softee Baby - Preemie Hat (knit)

SIZE
To fit preemie baby’s head.

MATERIALS
Bernat® Softee Baby
(Solids 140 g/5 oz OR Ombres 120 g/4.42 oz)
1 ball

Size 4 mm (U.S. 6) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge.

GAUGE
22 sts and 30 rows = 4 ins [10 cm] in stocking st.

INSTRUCTIONS
Cast on 58 sts.
1st row: (RS). Knit.
2nd row: Purl.
Rep last 2 rows of stocking st for 8 ins [19 cm], ending with a purl row. Cast off.
Sew back seam, reversing bottom 1.5 ins [4 cm] for roll back.
Sew top seam. Fold 2 top corners tog and sew at center of top seam.
Roll bottom edge to desired depth of Hat.
