What is RSS?
RSS (Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content like Bernat's New Yarns, Free Patterns, Pattern Books, and E-Newsletters to a RSS Feed Reader or News Aggregator.
Why RSS? Benefits and Reasons for using RSS
It allows you to easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content from the Bernat site that you are interested in. If you find the Bernat E-Newsletter is ending up in your spam folder or you are not receiving it at all, subscribing to the RSS feed will ensure you get a copy in your Reader as soon as it is published. You can also see What's New in Bernat Yarns, Free Patterns, and Pattern Books from your Feed Reader because our feeds automatically update as yarns, free patterns, and pattern books are added to the site.
What do I need to do to read an RSS Feed?
RSS Feed Reader or News Aggregator software allows you to grab the RSS feeds from Bernat as well as other sites and display them for you to read and use.
There are a number of web-based feed readers available. My Yahoo, My AOL, and Google Reader are popular web-based feed readers.
